About Us

Lakeview Cattery / About Us

Lakeview cattery is a purpose built facility with 44 luxury accommodation chalets. Situated in 3 acres of beautiful gardens surrounded by woodland. Our aim is comfort and total relaxation for your cat and your total peace of mind.

Each chalet is slightly different is size and lay out to suit each individual cat or cats – they each have window views of the woodland and each accommadation has an out-door run which benefits from some early morning sun. We have chalets to accommodate a family of four / two or just the one.

We have various toys beds – scratching posts and most cat comforts for an enjoyable stay at Lakeview cattery. Please feel free to bring any home beds or blankets for your cats stay.

The whole accommodation block is heated and kept to an average temperature of 60 degress, we also have heat lamps in each chalet for the even colder nights.

We have music playing at all times – to create a home feel and on occasion a sing song ; )

 WHAT WE ARE GOOD AT

Breakfast is served at 7am – with constant visits though out the day, lunch and cuddles in between – lights out at 10pm for some much needed sleep. We have most branded foods / wet & dry – any requests please do ask. We have TREAT night Tuesday – a combination of fresh fish or chicken, they can chose from our extensive menu.

Daily cleaning is carried out during occupation we operate a very high standard of hygiene and always an excuse for a cuddle!

All viewings are welcome – however if no scheduled cats are due in or out all the gates will be kept shut over the weekend.  Please call to arrange any viewings at weekends.

  • Thank you so much Linda for looking after Buddy and Lola . They were so chilled out on the long journey not a peep. Buddy has made himself at home hanging out at his favorite place The Sink ! And Lola shot outside and has been lying in the sun all afternoon. Thank you all for their "home from home "

  • “The baby” is growing into an Essex Lion, he’s long and skinny when I weighed him at the weekend he was 6.5Kg, no wonder I can’t breathe when he sits on my chest at 3am every morning, yes I know I’m soppy for letting him lol.
